Snowman

The weekend after we drove to Austria and got surprised by the snow :=) Building a snowmen with L. was great fun (but without gloves it was COLD). I think I am the only one looking forward to the winter and hopefully lot's of snow.

The LAZY Hike

Sunday - and what do we do ... drive to the mountain to go hiking !!!!! I guess you are no lesser surprised than I am. At least G. is there and we can complain together :=)

But than came the surprise once we took the gondola up the mountain we walked 200 meters and that was it for the day .... we just stayed there, enjoyed a great picnic and after 3 hours took the gondola down again. Everyone seems to have really enjoyed it .... and to think that I have been telling them that this is the way to go hiking for at least a year ....ugggggg :=) But maybe now they will really get into this way of hiking (I am sure my "Göti" Katrin is on my side). I will keep you updated !

Princess Time

Back home I have a sleep over with my favorite "Princess G.". We had lot's of fun and I decided that if Mommy and Daddy do not behave I will come and live with her - her parents are really cool.

A. made pizza with us and her Daddy S. build a boat for us just using a box. I hope I can sleep there again very soon :=)

Kirmes

Even if I missed all my friends in the States it was fun to come home, play with all my toys again and go to kindergarden .... but hey of course we did not stay still for a long time. A few days after arriving Mommy packed a bag and me in the car and off we went to Oma's house and the Kirmes (so after seeing all the carousels I forgave my mommy for the long car ride - and I apologized for the behavior during the car ride :=)

I enjoyed seeing my friend M. again and we had some good times together. I took him on a bumper car ride (after spending all those hours in the car I know how this works ....).

And than we had a drink together - a perfect day.

Once again with E.

We are back in San Francisco - Mommy and Daddy promised it is the last day of sightseeing and I get to spend as much time as possible with E. - I even got to sleep over at her house :=)

Here we are on the cabel car and don't tell my parents but that was fun.

Also driving down this really winding road was fun.

And with E. at Fisherman's wharf :=) Unfortunately it was our last day and saying good bye was not easy ..... I cried a lot. But I promise I will be back.

Highway No 1 - on the road again

Of course the need to move on, came quickly for my dear parents and that lead us into another car and down the road ... just because it is some great street called no 1 it does not make it better .... I am tiered of sitting in the car and that is also why I am not in this picture I decided to sleep.

Ok my parents gave in and we spend a lot of time out of the car. Fisherman

So many seals at the coast guard pier - that was really fantastic and loud and smelly :=)

Somewhere down the road a very friendly squirrel.

And this buddy of mine in Carmel .... I think he was just as tiered as I was so we snuggled up.

Reunion of the "Silly-Sisters"

We finally arrive in San Francisco and I was so happy to see my "best best" friend E. and meet her little sister S. ....

She is cute and very very tiny, we were really careful with her and were allowed to kiss her. To bad she is to small to play with us. E. and I had so much fun playing together that we even went along with all the adult outings with out complaining to much.

Sightseeing in San Francisco and Mommy was so excited about some "Golden Bridge" and Daddy made fun of her ...... while me and E. just played and did not worry to much about some bridge we could see.

The next outing: Napa Valley with lot's of wine tastings ...... which was cool because at wine tasting no. 3 the big ones had no more ideas or toys to keep us entertained so we got to watch a movie :=)

And E. Daddy was so nice to make a juice tasting for us ..... I think we both liked the pink juice.

For dinner we had some fish rolled up in some black leave with rice stuck in between ... they called it Sushi (Mommy also makes Sushi at home but it is a little bit more of a mess :=). E. and I had a great time eating with sticks .... for us little people they put rubber bands around the end and it worked really well.

The next day we went into the woods and I met this great bear :=) but he was really nice.

Goodbye

Once back in Seattle/Bellvue we had to say goodbye to our family and that was really sad. But first we enjoyed a few more days together and the family even got bigger - M. & N. (again Daddy's cousins but they live in Germany) were also visiting for a few days.

And fun we did have - like being a small blue monster chasing W. around the house !

Visiting N. at school and I am not sure who had the most fun ???

Eating as much ice cream as possible because uncle D. invited us :=)

But than the last night and JP birthday came and a lot of crying went on especially with all the girls.

I do not really understand why we can not just go and visit them more often - since it was so much fun but I have to admit I was only sad until I realized that now we were flying to San Francisco and I would finally see my best friend E. again.

Well a very big "Thank you with whipping cream and strawberries on top" (mommy always says that) to N. & M. & W. & J. & JP. & S. & J. it was great seeing you and I WILL BE BACK:

Finally a rest and some real FUN

My parents always tell me that they hate camping but hey this was a complete different story - you see little me and BIG motorhome. We are at Lake Chelan with the family :=)

We had so much fun on the boot and watching everyone waterskiing ...

Here is my cousin who really knows what he is doing !

Here is my DAD .......... but he knew what he was doing and even mommy went skiing and had lot's of fun. When I am older they said I could also try :=) As for now I enjoyed their "Relaxation Station" or as I would call it my private little pool.

And of course some very good hot dogs from the grill :=)

Yellowstone National Park

We finally got to YSNP and they had some really great things there:

Elks just right by the road saying "Good Morning"

The first bison we saw daddy took about 20 pictures and I even climbed out of my car seat to have a better look but after 3 days I did not even stop reading my book anymore if anyone in the front seat would say - "Look bisons".

They were lot's of waterfalls and geyser around - those smelled really badly and I did not think they were that much fun.

Daddy bought me this really cool hat so I could be a real trapper ....

... and right away I went on a successful hunt !

On the road

I do not know how much a 1000 miles are but it it LONG ... only thanks to Benjamin Blümchen, some borrowed books and games from my cousins :=) and a movie in the afternoons I survived the 3 days.

Mommy and Daddy always did fun things with me once we got to the next hotel and we actually had a great time ... but do not tell them because than they will do it again but WITHOUT letting me watch movies.

Once we reached Jackson Hole I got a little reward for being such a good little traveller ... meet SPARKLE.

Pirates of the Olympic National Park

We had to escape from a bunch of very bad pirates but with myself as the captain and mommy in the look-out we easily made it and than decided to spend the rest of the day hanging around some other beach .... ours was to dangerous.

Rialto Beach just after the fog clears up, it was just like a playground with all those trees to climb on.
